R.G. Hardie Circa 1970 nickel and imitation ivory

This set is a military style set of pipes that are in prisitne condition. The nickel shines like silver. The imitation ivory has the classic aged light orange hugh that is the trademark of vintage pipes from this era. These pipes have the classic mellow Hardie drones. I have owned these pipes since they were new and can attest to the fact that they have been played for less than a year and then meticulously stored until now. The pipes have the original Hardie chanter. I have considered replacing the aged imitation ivory with an aged antiqued imitation ivory that would make these pipes look like they did when they left Bob Hardie’s shop in 1970. - Email me about this item.
