Robertson Circa 1940 runic engraved nickel and imitation ivory

$0.00Price

This magnificent set of pipes has been completely refurbished by Thomas Pipe Works of Canada. These pipes have been stripped and refinished with new aged imitation ivory projection mounts and era correct runic engraved nickel. The pipes are flawless in every respect with no crackers or repairs. Robertson is one of the most consistent and pedigreed pipe makers in terms of history, manufacturing quality, standards and tone. James Robertson took over the pipe making shop of John Center when he immigrated to Australia in 1910. Robertson drones are known for their hefty look, massive projecting mounts, and close attention to detail. These pipes are easy to reed, and produce a magnificent tone with a great chanter blend. If you're looking for a classic set of Robertson bagpipe, this set is a rare find. This iconic Robertson set displays all the classic Robertson traits, including the massive mushroom-shaped projecting mounts, square bells and robust, rich, steady drone sound. The nickel shines like silver and the aged imitation ivory looks like real ivory. The experienced piper would be challenged to see the difference. EMAIL ME about this item.
